Monkey and Horse

No named branch relation

Fixed-element reading below

neutral standing

These two branches have no named relation in the sets shown here; that absence is neutral, not a negative verdict.

Fixed-element layer: Fire controls MetalMonkey carries fixed Metal; Horse carries fixed Fire. In the Five Phases cycle, Fire regulates Metal. This element layer does not create or cancel a named branch relationship.

Birth-date comparison

Compare birth-date year signatures

Birth dates settle the Chinese New Year boundary before comparing the two year stems, year-to-animal element dynamics, and Na Yin names. Each result opens the matching sign profile.

The traditional framework

Seven relationship sets

Three supportive sets and four challenging sets are checked independently. The resulting standing is harmonious, tense, mixed, or neutral.

Compatibility questions

Can one pair have more than one relationship?

Yes. Three Harmonies, Six Harmonies, seasonal meeting, clash, harm, destruction, and punishment are separate sets. A pair can appear in several at once, so this checker preserves every named layer and derives a mixed standing when supportive and tense relations overlap.

Why do some pairs have no named relationship?

The groupings are positional. After all seven relation sets are included, twenty-two of the sixty-six distinct pairs still carry no named branch relationship. That absence is neutral rather than a poor match.

Does the fixed-element reading replace the animal relationship?

No. Every animal carries a fixed branch element, while the named relationships come from branch groupings. The element dynamic is shown separately and never manufactures or cancels a named relationship.

What do birth dates add?

A birth date resolves the Chinese New Year boundary and supplies each person's year stem, year element, Na Yin name, and day master. The pair view can then compare the two year stems as well as the animal branches.
